PERFECT.About me: I am 38yrs old, 5'9", 180lbs., I have an AAS in HVAC Technology, BTAS in Technology and Leadership, I have worked in the maintenance field for 10 years.Knife: although never tested in salt water, the quality speaks for itself. I wear a Citizen titanium watch everyday to work. I beat it up, and it is lighter and way more scratch resistant than stainless. When deciding which knife to buy, money was not an issue. tangling with a shark in Florida and having protection was. I swim around the Tampa Bay area, and trust me, there are all kinds of sharks out there. The knife is awesome. I have played with it all day. The sheath is plastic, but it works. I have read other reviews about the quality of sheaths, and handles. This knife is extremely well designed, and the quality of the components are the best. I usually test a knife's sharpness by shaving some hairs on my arm. Out of the box, it wont do that, but this is not a razor, it is a shark piercing tool. It is sharp, but not razor sharp. I bought my dad a Cutco fishermans solution, and he has filleted hundreds of fish, and it is still razor sharp. You can cut yourself. It is perfect for piercing, and line cutting. The quick release is flawless. One finger, awesome design. The rubber straps are so secure, they will pull the hairs out of your legs. It is secure, in the sheath, and on the body. I looked at the US DIvers titanium knife, and it just seemed junky. I am glad I payed 30 dollars more for this knife. I have somewhat larger hands, and it fits perfect. Can't say enough good stuff about this knife.I have ordered a lot of stuff from Amazon, and never taken the time to do a review. i felt that after reading the reviews that guided my decision to buy this knife, I should give back. This review is also based on my happiness with my purchase. I thought Cressi was top of the line, until I got this knife. Cressi is junk compared to this quality. I will probably at least get a new mask from Atomic. One more thing:; the straps. The cant make straps that fit everybody. They fit my calves, but not my thigh. My thighs are huge, prob be perfect for a skinny guy. The reasoning behind Atomics length limits: if they made them big enough to fit everybody, the skinny guy would have an extra foot of slack. You dont want to cut it because you might want the extra length for another body position someday. PERFECT. Badass Knife. Thanks AtomicVery well built knife. Easy to handle, lightweight, easy to sharpen, and the grip is a very nice rubbery material. The addition of a line cutter and a serrated side of the knife is great as well. Sheath appears to be very well built as well it's definitely one of the best retention systems I have seen on the market. Only gripe is if you plan on rapping this on your thigh then you may want to get longer straps because the ones included are likely not long enough for most people's thighs. Overall the knife is great and compared to the competition I'm glad I went with this option.Knife feels good when wearing, and the locking mechanism is good. I rigged a retention string to the knife in case I drop it in deep water. The knife has a good weight to it, and is very sturdy. It would have been nice to have instructions on how to wear the knife, as I had to watch videos to figure out I needed to re-weave the leg straps to get them situated correctly. Looking forward to many years of good use from this blade. One note on blade selection...I went back & forth on whether to go with a pointed end or not...finally went with pointed, as a knife's uses are stabbing and slicing. I'd rather have the option to use both, and would be extra careful if replacing the knife in its sheath while diving.Excellent dive knife. Took it multiple times in the water in the Keys and not a hint of rust. Used mostly snorkeling with one scuba trip thrown in. The only negative is the straps are a bit short, I would have preferred to strap it on my thigh but since they weren't long enough I had to settle for my calf/lower leg. Release is easy to use and seems very secure. I used it for a week long trip in the Keys where we rented a condo on the water and so had daily snorkeling opportunities and I always had it on in the water. I did not rinse it off till the end of the trip so I could get a good measure of its corrosion resistance. Well worth the money IMHO...I am a big believer in spending the money on quality tools that will last.Great product for the price. The knife is fine but pretty much useless since the clips on the straps are backwards. These straps will not work!!! The clip on the strap is backward so it will not hold tight. Better off buying one of the $40 knives on Amazon, the knife won’t be as good but you’ll at least be able to carry it.I have had my Atomic knife for years until it somehow got blown off the boat. So I had to buy another one. Atomic has excellent products. The knife is of superb quality, very durable and cuts through what I need it to with ease. Hopefully I can I hold onto this one as my last one I had for 5 years. The overall quality is definitely good. The sharpness of the blade is about what I expected from titanium but how it was sharpened seems to have been done is great haste there are heavy grooves in the edge of the blade and it's quite a bit off center. It'll take alot of hand sharpening to fix.but the blade feels durable and the handle nice and rugged.1- le distributeur ne paye pas les douane pour le Canada ces 35$ alors ces 220$ plus les douane et ensuite l article mesure: la poignée est de 4 pouces et demi de long en plastic pas très confortable pour un homme avec des mains assez grande et la lame est de aussi 4 et demi de long d une hauteur de 1 pouces pour finir le couteau dans l étui mesuré 9 pouces et 1/4 de long
