I received this knife today and I swear it is an exact replica of the Iron Mistress used in Alan Ladd’s movie of the same name. The quality and the finish for a knife made in Pakastan is extraordinary. I didn’t think it would look or feel as good as it does. The attention to detail and the quality control is superb. The knife maker who made this knife knows his business. This is a heavy knife but balanced so the weight is well distributed. It’s 11.5 in in length and over 2.5 in in depth. The spine is .25 in so it is a formidable weapon. The fit and finish is excellent for a hand made highly polished blade. The guard is thick brass as well as the pommel. I am a collector of knives and this is one of my best. It is right up there with my Randall Smithsonian Bowie. The blade is razor sharp and the sheath is a high quality leather well stitched to stand up to heavy usage. The handle is made out of camel bone and looks beautiful surrounded by the brass on the guard and pommel. I love it and I think you will to.
