These are custom designed chef knives with beautiful custom handmade handles produced in Canada. The hybrid chef knife is designed as a hybrid style between a Santoku and classic chef. The blades are made of high quality 67 layer Damascus and a VG10 steel core. With a HRC rating of 60-61 it can provide a much sharper, harder edge and stay sharp for up to 10x longer then an average stainless steel chef knife. The VG-10 core is clad in 67 layers of a stainless steel Damascus to protect it.

The resins completely impregnate the wood, and then cure, so the wood now resists shrinking and swelling with the weather as well as taking on water.
