I used this for my Christmas potpourri. PerfectSmaller than expected. However there are some sauces that need this size bowl and not overwhelming the serving area.As described.goodBeautifulThis is a pretty bowl with applied holly and berries, but it just doesn't seem up to normal Lenox standards. The glass bowl itself is solid, with a fairly thick base, but the glass has a bubble it in, right in the design which makes it extra visible. I can live with that. But the painted design on the outside has a irregularly translucent appearance which suggest a hand-painted, craft kiosk sort of look. Not bad, but not Lenox, either. The gold band along the top is a typical Lenox look -- that, fortunately, is flawless on my bowl.This 6" size is perfect for nuts or candy. Because of the design on the exterior, this bowl is not dishwasher-safe, but since most people will likely use it to hold or display less messy objects, it should clean up easily by hand. It makes a mostly attractive, small accent piece for the holidays.-- Debbie Lee WesselmannThe Lenox Holiday glass bowl is a beautiful little bowl that adds a bit of festive holiday flair to your decor (a bit redundant there, but this is a combined listing with multiple products, so I thought I would specify which product up-front). The design is a bit on the understated side (moreso on the clear glass, when compared to some of the other white items) and well-made. There were no errors in the paint or scratches on the gold rim and it came packaged well inside the Lenox box where it was also wrapped with foam.The bowl holds 20 ounces, which probably sounds like more than it actually is. The bowl is on the small side, almost surprisingly so, but it's a good size for candy or nuts or some other grab-and-go type of snack. The bowl is also surprisingly heavy for its size, with a heavy base, so you won't have to worry about it moving all-that-easily it's tapped while grabbing for a snack. All-in-all, it's a nice little bowl, so if you're looking for something holiday-themed or even as a gift, this should fit the bill.This review is of the glass bowl.I was surprised at the size of this bowl. I pictured it as more of a serving bowl size but it's actually more along the lines of a cereal bowl. While it would make a nice candy dish if you don't mind not having a lid on your candy bowl I'm using it as a serving piece alongside my other Lenox Christmas china. It matches well but I have to say the painted decoration looks very different on clear glass compared to china or porcelain. Not better or worse, just different. The painted design is slightly raised and the rim has gold trim so I'll be hand washing it. It's a nice change from the regular ivory colored Lenox and makes a nice addition to a collection. My one complaint is the thickness of the glass on the sides, it could stand to be a bit thicker. Although I wouldn't call it fragile sturdier glass would be a welcome improvement.
