I searched for a 3 inch every day carry blade. This Gerber has good reviews. Most others are rather thick.I was impressed from the start. The Gerber looks great and gray, and I like the antique look of the blade. The action is smooth, it’s easy to grip, and it feels solid. Overall a good knife.I was disappointed with the edge for $175. Many other knives ant this price are very sharp, think Spiderco. This has a thick blade down to the final bevel, and the bevel is pretty steep. That’s good for durability, but not so good for cutting. I will need to grind in a secondary bevel with some hard work on a stone.
