It was time to retire my 20 year old Henckel Knive set and I was looking at all the options. It seems every set I looked at 10-20 percent of the reviews were negative. I took a chance on this set and can hinestly say I don't understand all the critical reviews of these knives.They offer a nice assortment, are very sharp and are holding their edge, have nice heft and feel, and are attractive to look at.I keep them out of the dishwasher. No issues with rust or cracked handles. It's only been 3 weeks but I'm pleased with them and the price I paid.
