Everything was perfect about the block itself. It doesnt tip over when pulling a knife off ! Many others can’t say the same. My only issue is it’s very hard for me to tell where the two pieces of wood meet so when placing a knife on you have to be super careful you don’t break a tip off or bend it….yes I did this on my tojiro dp…magnetic grabbed when I had knife to low and it chipped tip. I will say it’s my fault but it’s very hard to tell exactly how high you need to be. Much safer sliding it on. Otherwise the quality of this on point.
