I got these knives to replace a similar set that I had for years but they weren't holding an edge. I like the dark color of the block, it will look lovely with almost any kitchen decor. The knives are nice and sharp, and I like that the set includes scissors and a sharpener.In a perfect world, there would only be three steak knives with a serrated edge and three without a serrated edge since serrated blades are tough to sharpen. Other than that, this is a great set of knives.
