I did a small amount of research when looking for a nice chef’s knife. This one had great reviews and the price was way more attractive than most, so I thought I’d give it a shot and glad I did. The grip looked strange to me, but it’s actually very comfortable. The weight is good, but I almost wish it was a bit heavier. I love the block it comes in. It fits perfectly in my silverware drawer. I am not a fan of having knives in a block on the counter. This knife is SHARP. I hand wash it and am so careful when I do. I haven’t had to sharpen it (I’ve had it a couple weeks) so not sure how well it sharpens. Soooo easy to chop veggies and glides through meat. It’s about a shorter knife than I’m used to, but it’s okay because it doesn’t make a difference in the handling for me. If you’re looking for a good value and good quality, this is the knife for you.
